What is "Atarashii Gakko!"?


Atarashii Gakko! is a Japanese girl dance group formed in 2015, consisting of four members: MIZYU, RIN, SUZUKA, and KANON.
The group made its worldwide debut in January 2021 under 88rising with the single "Nainainai."
88rising is an American musical platform and record label primarily for Asian American and Asian artists active around the world, such as Joji, Keith Ape, Rich Brian, and Niki.

They are one such example, and their popularity is expanding with live performances around the world.

EP "Ichiji Kikoku Deluxe"


Atarashii Gakko! brings the new edition of the EP "Ichiji Kikoku" on December 13th, 2023.
The EP includes "Otona Blue," which featured elements of Showa-era songs.

EP "Maningen"


"Maningen" is the EP released on August 16, 2023.
It includes the opening theme for the TV drama "Assistant Inspector: Daimajin" produced by jon-YAKITORY, a popular vocaloid producer who has produced Ado's music.
In addition, it contains "Otona Blue - From THE FIRST TAKE" and "Koibumi," which is very popular at their live performances.

They released the new song "Tokyo Calling" on October 20th.




They performed this song at Jimmy Kimmel Live.





Their songs "Otona Blue" and "Tokyo Calling" are included in the Spotify Playlist "Gacha Pop."

Spotify Japan came out the playlist on May 9, 2023, consisting of 75 tracks by various Japanese artists.
The name Gacha comes from capsule toy machines (gacha-gacha). When you play gacha-gacha, items come out at random.
