2024年2月10日結成。Vo/Gt.Hika、Gt.Natsu、Ba.Kanade、Dr.Cocoroから成る4人組ガールズバンドNEK!(読み方:ネキ)。それぞれ自身のYouTubeやSNSを中心に音楽を発信してきた4人が、お互いのパフォーマンスに惚れ込み結成。ネットから誕生したガールズバンドということで、ネットスラングで”頼れる存在のアネキ”を意味する”ネキ”がバンド名の由来。ロックをベースとしながら、ネット発の印象的な歌詞を特徴とする彼女達の愛称は”スラングロックバンド”Vo.Hikaは、TikTokのフォロワー6万人を超え、その可愛らしいルックスとは裏腹に力強いボーカリゼーションで聴き手を魅了する。また、演奏陣もネット界隈で一目を置かれるメンバーが揃い踏み!Gt.NatsuとBa.Kanadeの超絶技巧ツインズによってNEK!の楽曲を激しく彩り、Dr.Cocoroが安定したドラムワークでNEK!の楽曲を支えている。2024年突如彗星のごとく現れた彼女達だが、1st Single「Get Over」をリリースするやいなや、YouTubeのミュージックビデオを中心に話題沸騰!配信1ヶ月で10万再生を突破し、国内だけでなく海外からも絶賛のコメントが寄せられている。そんなNEK!の1st EPが7月24日リリース。初の全国流通盤として制作された今作は、1st Single「Get Over」をはじめ、ガールズバンド離れした演奏とスラングロックバンドらしいパンチラインの効いた歌詞が特徴のリード曲の「MAZE」など、強力な楽曲達がラインナップされている。
