This is a must have for any Akina fan, the 5.1 sound is amazing and the picture quality is great. Was really surprised by how good the overall quality was on this release.

I was very surprised with the Heart song at this album. I did bought it because Yellow Magic Orchestra members play on this album

This album was mostly a blind buy for me, but Takako Okamura sure delivers! The first song I had heard of hers was 'yume wo akiramenaide' while listening to some random Citypop playlists online. I've been trying to expand my library as well find new artists that I like, which is one of the reasons I decided to jump and purchase this album. It has quickly become one of my new favorites. Purchasing from CDJapan was a superb experience as always. THANKS!

Akiko Kosaka has this way of singing that somehow never fails to make me feel jolly. It is kind of a strange word to use, but I'm not sure there is one that really captures what her music makes me feel. When I listen to Akiko Kosaka I get this urge to just happily talk to everyone like some kind of crazed buiseness salesman closing in on the end of the month and a mile away from meeting my quota, where the absolute necessity to keeping my job is convincing someone to listen to her music. Except instead of a business salesman, I'm santa claus after he just invented the worlds best toy. 'My Recommend' is another one of the recent blind purchases to become one of my favorites. I recommend you give her a listen online even if you don't plan on buying the album. If you like her stuff, I also recommend Takako Okamura(artist of other recent blind purchase turned favorite 'Do My best'). fantastic compilation CD on HQCD, from this very varied music band from Japan with YMO drummer Yukihiro Takahashi, definitely recommended.

Amazing remaster of her iconic album Crimson, sound quality is great and the packaging is incredible as well. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent product. The songs on the CD brings back many wonderful memories from many years ago.

I see a lot of people that disregard Akina's later releases and that's a shame because they are just as good. This album kinda has a David Bowie/Sheena Ringo feel to it very unique. Akina as always sounds incredible and all the songs stand out, this is a must own if you are a fan in my opinion.

If you want a perfect album with all of Akina's best hits then this is it, and the high quality Cd sound AMAZING. She is one of the best singers that's ever lived.

Seiko’s has moved from her pop icon image to a more subtle self. In her first Jazz album, she began to show her soften side on her singing. Her focus on each verse of the songs had strongly refectled her mature style of delivering both the contents and emotional swings to portray what’s its takes for a jazz song. Forget about the westerner Jazz singers and let’s give Seiko an applause for her bravery to try out Jazz’s music.

The Master Lacquer sound quality is much better than expected. Akina's vocals really shine and the musical instruments sounded much sharper and clearer. Looking forward to more Master Lacquer releases of her albums.
