Pick Up Review

GSN-6 Liquid Brush / Chikuhodo GSN Series / WeaselMakeup Brushlove it
I've been using this brush a lot. It is a great brush for liquid and cream products. It is flat enough where you can pick up products and spread it thinly, but also blend it beautifully. It is not as soft as other brushes, but it gives you a nice thin and precise application. The worst thing you can do is apply too much foundation product at one time. I recommend this brush and will be trying the other fluffier one from this line as well.

GSN-9 Eye Shadow Brush / Chikuhodo GSN Series / Gray SquirrelMakeup Brushgood for shimmer shadow
This great brush applies shimmer shadows so smoothly and beautifully. It's very similar to Eihodo's s-5. I love both brushes!

B-FD-01 Foundation Brush / BISYODO Series / Goat SaikohoMakeup Brushextremely soft
This brush, like other Bishodo goat hair brushes, is incredibly soft, almost hard to believe it is made of goat hair.
-
BS-ES-04 Eye Shadow Brush / BISYODO Short Series / CatMakeup Brushfavorite
This brush, like other Bishodo brushes, is very soft. I use this brush to apply the shadow right above my eye and blend it out. This brush blends naturally, almost like a blending brush.

FO-3 Cheek Brush / Chikuhodo FO Series / Silver FoxMakeup BrushBest blush brush EVER
This fox hair brush is soft as a feather. And it really brings out the clear and refreshing coloration unique to fox fur very well.

S-5 Eyeshadow Brush/ Eihodo WP Series / High grade Gray SquirrelMakeup Brushgood for shimmer shadow
This brush applies shimmer shadows with a soft, transparent feel that is characteristic of Japanese makeup.

FO-4 Cheek & Highlight Brush / Chikuhodo FO Series / Silver FoxMakeup BrushA great way to try silver fox!
Fox is such an intriguing hair because it's almost as soft as squirrel but is stronger like goat so it's the best of both worlds, unfortunately that makes it pretty expensive. I think this brush is one of the best intro brushes to fox since cheek brushes are so versatile and you can try out fox without breaking the bank. Aesthetically, I love the look of the gray bristles with the green ferrules, I would prefer if the maple wood handles were a little heavier but nonetheless it's beautiful. The angled shape also makes it really unique and versatile. I mostly use it for blush but you can also use it for highlight, bronzer, and powder.

EIHODO MK-SK Makie Powder Brush / Gray Squirrel MAIKOMakeup BrushThe most beautiful makie design
This is my first squirrel brush; I had been tempted by other makie powder brushes out there but because they are so expensive and squirrel is such a pesky bristle type I wanted to wait until I found a makie design I really loved. Then I saw the Maiko design. I do wish the makie wrapped around the handle but the Maiko itself is so beautiful and intricate, there's a lot of finer details. So I had to get it, it's even more beautiful in person. I don't have any other squirrel to compare it to but it feels very soft to me. I don't reach for it all the time since it's squirrel and I feel like I need to baby it, but that's just the reality of a squirrel brush. If the makie design speaks to you like it did for me, I do think it's worth it!

Ksz-03(KK-2) Cheek Brush / KOYUDO Kakishibuzome Series / Goat Saikoho(Kakishibuzome)Makeup BrushBeautiful cheek brush
This is my favorite cheek brush in terms of aesthetics and functionality. I love the look of the persimmon-dyed bristles and cherry wood handles, it's just a stunning combination. The bristles are super soft and the size and round-flat shape makes it really easy and lovely to apply blush where you want it and slowly build up. I know the KSZ series is not considered premium by fude collectors but I think it's just stunning.

[Outlet / No returns allowed] No.513 Nail oval brush / PBTMakeup BrushGreat as a concealer brush
I'm glad to pick up this brush and it's really worth it since I pick it up when it's in discount. I choose this brush is because recently I found that such shape of brush has good effect of concealer application. I usually use cream type of concealer. It can be very precise and won't pick up too much product when applying the concealer. And this brush is made by PBT, I don't need to worry about hurting the bristle when using cream product.

B-ES-05 Eye Shadow Brush / BISYODO Series / Pine Squirrel, KolinskyMakeup BrushSoft eyeshadow brush
When I first got it, the size is bigger than I expected, I think I probably mislead by the photo on the website. And I feel the thickness is a bit of thinner, which I thought it should be denser. But when I start to use it, I do feel the bristle is very soft even it's just pine squirrel hair. The effect of eye shadow application is also good, the eyeshadow powder can be applied very smoothly and even. To use it to apply base color is also a good choice. I might consider to purchase it again as backup.

B-SL-01 Shadow Liner Brush / BISYODO Series / WeaselMakeup BrushGood eyeliner brush
Before I started to use this brush, I thought the bristle might be too soft to do a eyeliner job. It turns out the effect of using it to draw the eyeliner is good and precise. The bristle is stiff but not prick. Good to have it but alternative should be able to find easily.
-
B-ES-08 Eye Shadow Brush / BISYODO Series / CatMakeup BrushSpecial shape brush
The size is much smaller than I expected. It's more like a pin point brush, so it can be a small smudge brush. It can also be a eyeliner brush because of its size and shape. This is a not bad brush, but not a mush have brush.

ZE-1 Powder Brush / Chikuhodo ZEN Series / Premium Silver FoxMakeup BrushThe ultimate pure luxury
I was am with the quality of this brush! It is softer than the Chikuhodo FO series, which is also fantastic. The size is perfect for me and the performance is great for applying setting or finishing powder to give a beautiful, airbrushed look. I think that it will also perform well with Tom Ford Bronzer which is a bit lighter than other bronzers that I own. I regret that I was late to the party and missed the opportunity to purchase other brushes from this collection as they are now sold out. I would grab this one while you still can! Shipping and delivery (I used DHL) were very fast and the items were well packed. Thank you!

Macaroon Kabuki Brush / Koyudo H Brush Series / Baby Goat VioletMakeup BrushVelvet soft
Velvet soft yet sturdy, unbelievable cute & practical. I wish there were other color option other than plastic orange and cheap cosmetic pink.
-
B-H-01 Highlight & Cheek Brush / BISYODO Series / Goat SaikohoMakeup BrushGood highlighter/check brush
The bristle is very soft, you won't feel prick when using it on the face. I like the round shape design which I can whirl to blend the blush. As a highlighter brush it might be a bit of big. But the effect is still good.
-
S-7 Eyeshadow Brush/ Eihodo WP Series / WeaselMakeup BrushGood to use it as concealer brush
Though it's an eyeshadow brush, I found it is quite suitable for concealer application. The size and the shape are just perfect to apply concealer in precise spot. If the thickness could be thinner which will be more perfect to pick less amount of the product.

YB-3 Highlight & Eyeshadow Brush Yuiitsumuni / KOYUDO Yoshiki Black Series / High grade Goat SaikohoMakeup BrushVery soft
This is a very soft and beautiful brush. The head of brush looks slightly bigger than the picture. The brush can be used as highlighter, or eyeshadow blending brush perfectly. I see some professional makeup artists like to use a small blending brush to apply blush. I will try it.
-
B-ES-09 Finger Brush / BISYODO Series / PBTMakeup BrushGood eyeshadow brush
The shape and the thickness are good for me to apply eyeshadow base. The softness of the brush is ok, not particularly soft. It's a good brush in average, but not a must-have one.

G-H-01 Highlight Brush / BISYODO GRAND Series / Gray SquirrelMakeup BrushA Versatile and Excellent Brush
This brush delivers the performance I expected when I purchased it. Although it is smaller than I anticipated, this makes it versatile for various uses. It works not only as a highlighter brush but also for cheeks and powder application. The handle is conveniently sized, which adds to my satisfaction. While it wasn't as soft as I had hoped during the first use, it became incredibly soft after washing. In particular, it applies shimmery eyeshadows and highlighters beautifully.
