From The Foundations [Blu-spec CD] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]The FoundationsBaby, Now That I've Found You Finally!
I had never heard of this band before until I heard the final song in the movie "There's Something About Mary" called "Build Me Up Buttercup" and I decided I had to find this song on cd and after extensive research I found this album on cdjapan by this band called The Foundations. Thankfully this album has that track as a bonus on this cd and it also has the other track that I really like: "Baby, Now That I've Found You" which is really nice. I've very late in discovering this band but as they say better late than never and I have to say that the other albums tracks are also very good; no fillers here to my ear. Also for mlps collectors like me this package is well done and better than most of the mlps packaging that's released these days. Overall highly recommended especially if you like UK-style Northern Soul.

Digging The Foundations [Blu-spec CD] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]The FoundationsVery Strong Northern UK Soul Album!
I got the first album on mini-lp sleeve from cdjapan because I wanted the hits: "Build Me Up Buttercup" and "Baby, Now That I've Found You" which was a very satisfying purchase so I decided to try out this other album of theirs and while it doesn't have a strong hits like those two the album overall is also satisfying with very strong examples of the Northern Soul genre with no filler that I can hear. In fact as an overall consistently good album this one is it and I'm happy with my purchase. For mlps collectors like myself the packaging is also very good just like the other album I bought from here. Highly recommended for fans of this genre.

A Love Trilogy [Limited Low-priced Edition]Donna Summerearly disco classic
released in early 1976 , this is actually a more balanced in terms of song writing quality album. Although it does not include any major hit like the previous album (love to love you baby)

Tokyo Dome 1990 [Limited Release]
Stevie WonderTokyo Dome 1990 [Limited Release]Stevie WonderFantastic show from the 90sThis show recorded in Tokyo on dec 1990 is quite interesting because Stevie played rare songs like "Stay Gold", "Truth Is The light" or "Sorry". Sound quality is quite good. This show was broadcasted on TV in Japan only at the time and it's probably taken from a master tape but anyway this is a very nice one and Stevie's voice is crystal clear. A masterpiece from his 1990 Japanese tour.

Random Access Memories (Drumless Edition) [Import Disc]Daft PunkInteresting
I really liked how this album sounded drumless and it is a great companion to the original disk. But in the end casual listeners will not be impressed. For Daft Punk fans only.

AutobahnKraftwerkMasterwork
The album that for many out there was their first introduction to the world of electronic music. Kraftwerk's Autobahn set the template for many to follow. A masterwork that has not dimmed with time.

What's Going On +2 [SHM-CD] [Regular Edition]Marvin GayeThe greatest album of all time
The best black soul music record in history. The beautiful and gentle melody contains reflections and criticisms of American society in the 1970s. Marvin Gaye's singing is very moving. Recommended to everyone

Good Bad Sexy [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]JoeToo Good To Be Bad
It's almost impossible to get dissappointed by Joe. This album is another masterpiece, with great songs, uptempos & some more soulful ballads. My faves "Time Of Your Life", "Losing", "Dear Joe", "Shelter" are on heavy rotation. Wish Joe would perform these songs more. The interview is very interesting, that's why I always love to buy the japanese editions. Their extra content is all worth to spend money into it.

KeysAlicia KeysOriginal
Love me some Alicia Keys and this album is amazing. Specially because she took each song and made 2 versions of them. How cool is that??? So you maybe if there's a song you don't like very much, you may check out the other versions and maybe this one get's your love. I enjoyed this album and made my own list of the songs I liked most. Alicia went deep into this with this album.

Arabian NightsThe Ritchie FamilyBest of Disco Music
Another great disco album finally makes it to CD. Arabian Nights is the second album by The Ritchie Family, including all-time classics "Baby I'm on Fire" and "The Best Disco in Town", plus a great long medley on what was Side 2 on vinyl, including the Lawrence of Arabia theme set to a disco beat. Love it! It's incredible that huge amounts of American music are only available on physical media in Japan. That all these supercool funk, soul and disco recordings are finally coming out on CD is awesome. Six months ago I had no albums by The Ritchie Family. Now I have five (hopefully the rest will come soon). Thanks CD Japan. Still the best online shop I've ever bought from.
