When I saw this series is red fox and squirrel hair mixed, I thought it should be very soft. But when I started to use it, it's more resilient than I thought. The bristle still feels comfortable and not prickly, but not as soft as I expected. It's quite good to use it to apply finishing powder because the bouncing bristle and the density, but maybe not good for blush which might be too pigmented. This brush is nice but not must have.For a brush collector, buying 1 or 2 should be enough. For a freshman of makeup or brush user, I would not recommand it.
