松本伊代が1989年に発売した、通算10作目のアルバム『Private File』がLP化。KAN、REIMY、村松邦男、小西康陽、大江千里、崎谷健次郎、井上ヨシマサなどのメロディー・メーカーが楽曲提供し、アレンジで西脇辰弥、新川博、武部聡志らが参加したシティポップ・アルバム。西脇辰弥がファンクな音作りで応えた和ブギーの秀作「Private fileは開けたままで・・・」やKANが提供したダンス・チューン「土曜日のParty」、小西康陽がプレ渋谷系的なサウンドを展開した「有給休暇」など収録。シングル曲「淋しさならひとつ」も収録。アルバム全体を通して、バブル期の20代独身女性の等身大の生き方がナチュラルに描かれ、厚めのデジタル・サウンドにも負けない松本伊代の個性的な歌声は、デビュー時にもましてより甘く、切なく聴く者に訴えかけてくる。
