November 3rd is Record Day. It was established by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) in 1957. In Japan, November 3rd is also a national holiday called "Bunka no Hi (Day of Culture)." Based on the idea that "records are cultural assets," the association decided to mark the day as Record Day.

Many titles are released all at once on Record Day.

The following lists are categorized according to the order of the number of pre-orders, the music genre, and the type of record.
