In April 2024, the group released the Acoustic EP on various streaming services, which used their original studio recordings to create acoustic arrangements of four songs from their 1973 release. Songs from "Vagabonds of the Western World," as well as new versions of classics like "Whiskey in the Jar," "Dublin," and "Remembering Part 2 (New Day)" are revived in fresh versions.

アイルランドを代表するロック・バンド、シン・リジィの初期楽曲の新たな魅力を引き出す、"アコースティック・ミックス"から成るニュー・アルバム。フィル・ライノット (ベース/ヴォーカル)、ブライアン・ダウニー (ドラム)、エリック・ベル (ギター)から成る初期のシン・リジィは、『シン・リジィ』 (71年)、『ブルー・オーファン』 (72年)、『ヴァガボンズ・オブ・ザ・ウェスタン・ワールド (西洋無頼)』 (73年)という3作のアルバムに加え、EP『ニュー・デイ』 (71年)や複数のシングルを残した。今作はオリジナルとは大きく印象の大きく異なるアコースティック・ミックスを通じて、それらの楽曲に新たな光を当てた40余年ぶりのニュー・アルバム。24年4月、グループが残したオリジナルのスタジオ音源を使用し、73年発表の4つの楽曲をアコースティック・アレンジに仕立てた『アコースティックEP』が各種ストリーミング・サービスでリリース。本作では、エリック・ベルがベルファストのスタジオで新録したギター・パートも使用されており、さらに多くの名曲をネイキッドなサウンドで楽しむことができる。名盤『ヴァガボンズ・オブ・ザ・ウェスタン・ワールド (西洋無頼)』の収録曲や、イギリスでは6位、アイルランドでは首位に達したグループ初のヒット曲「ウィスキー・イン・ザ・ジャー」、EP『ニュー・デイ』収録の「ダブリン」と「リメンバリング・パート2 (ニュー・デイ)」などが新たなヴァージョンで蘇る。＜日本盤のみ＞解説/歌詞対訳付。 ※本商品は金曜販売開始商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
