Wow, what a presentation for one of rock's classic albums. I was skeptical with this release at first, especially since it doesn't include a surround sound mix, which I really wanted. However, what we do get is pretty spectacular. One of the selling points of this box set, which I first I wasn't interested in, became one of my favorites and that's the instrumental tracks. These guys are such talented musicians, that it's really cool to hear just the instrumental versions of these songs and soak up the artistry. The demos and unreleased mixes are fun to hear just to see how the final release evolved. Plus, the live tracks are cool too. I really enjoyed the 64 page book included with the release too, everything in this box set is top shelf and it creates a perfect presentation for this album. If that wasn't enough, all the CDs are in the superior Japanese SHM-CD format, so this box set is the definitive release of this rock classic. It's sold out as I write this review, but if you can find one, it's definitely worth it for the SHM-CD format.
